Close to 6,000 miles are on the odometer of the “Corn-Cob.” That’s what friends and colleagues affectionately call the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche I drive throughout Idaho. The Avalanche has a bright yellow and green corncob emblazoned on each side of the truck with the words ‘Flex Fuel’ and ‘livegreengoyellow.com’ taking up any left-over space on the gloss-black truck. General Motors provides the Avalanche, free of charge, to the national Governors’ Ethanol Coalition to promote ethanol.

DEQ uses partnership approach in air quality permit streamlining initiative
(Boise - June 27, 2006) The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality held a first-of-its-kind listening session for industry today at its headquarters in Boise. The session offered attendees an opportunity to advise DEQ on ways to streamline the air quality permitting process.
